EDI-SL is a highly resourced network equipped with a team of skilled volunteers in different areas ranging from education, law, policy, business and strategy. The team brings their rigorous academic training, experience and passion to give back to their communities that have given so much to them. EDI-SL is anchored on the power of voluntarism, and also the passion for young people to achieve visible results in the area of education, which has undeniably become one of the most challenging sectors in the country.

While EDI-SL has a national mandate a reasonable chunk of the fundraising and reporting task rest largely on a team of volunteer in the United States. Both teams are jointly responsible for the day to day operation of the organization, with responsibilities that include planning, coordination, program management delivery and evaluation. Activity implementation and reporting is mainly led by the team in Sierra Leone. Currently, EDI has a four member board team – two in the United States of America and two in Sierra Leone.

Two project officers are fully responsible for the planning and implementation of projects and activities in Sierra Leone.
